My Approach
Over the past decade, I’ve written thought-pieces that challenge the status quo and produced multimedia projects across television, radio, and digital platforms. Stories deserve to travel across mediums — not stay confined to one.
My scholarly contributions in decolonial thought continue to inform my creative and professional practice, shaping how power, voice, and representation show up in the stories we tell.
What I Speak About
I speak from lived experience, professional practice, and deep scholarly engagement, offering audiences fresh ways of seeing issues that shape our collective future. My work spans Early Childhood Development, where I reframe investment in young children, especially children in crisis, as a strategic driver of social and economic progress. I champion the rights of women and girls, exposing systemic barriers and offering practical, rights-based pathways to real transformation. I also interrogate the enduring impact of colonial legacies on African identity, leadership, charity, and storytelling, inviting audiences to unlearn, reclaim, and reimagine power. Across all my talks, I challenge dominant narratives in aid and humanitarianism, advocating for dignity, agency, and equity. I bring a faith-informed lens to gender equity and social justice, showing how spiritual traditions can catalyse meaningful and transformative change.
